Welcome to Cover ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Cover invoicing application available at cover.yoga.

By accessing or using Cover, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

Cover is an invoicing platform designed specifically for yoga teachers. Our service includes:

  • Class Schedule Management: Organize and track your yoga classes across different studios
  • Invoice Generation: Create professional PDF invoices for your teaching services
  • Studio Management: Manage studio information, rates, and contact details
  • Email Extraction (Pro plan): Automatically extract class information from studio emails

3. Account Terms

3.1 Registration

To use Cover, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the accuracy of your account information
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 One Account per Person

Each person may only maintain one Cover account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Cover only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service for any illegal activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Plans

Cover offers both free and paid subscription plans. Features and limitations vary by plan and are described on our pricing page.

5.2 Billing Cycle

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your chosen billing cycle.

5.3 Payment

  • Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle
  • We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees

5.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to subsequent billing cycles.

5.5 Refunds

  • Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months
  • Yearly subscriptions: Prorated refunds may be available within the first 14 days
  • Refund requests should be sent to hello@cover.yoga

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

Cover and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of all data you input into Cover, including:

  • Invoice information
  • Class schedules and details
  • Studio information
  • Professional information

6.3 License to Use Your Content

By using Cover, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

7. User Content

7.1 Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information you enter into Cover, including:

  • Invoice details and amounts
  • Studio contact information
  • Class schedules and rates
  • Tax and business information

7.2 Backup Recommendations

While we implement reasonable backup procedures, we recommend you:

  • Download and save copies of important invoices
  • Maintain your own records of class schedules
  • Export your data periodically

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

Cover is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8.2 No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected in a specific timeframe
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

8.3 Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Cover shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8.4 Exclusion of Damages

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

  • Lost profits or revenue
  • Lost data
  • Business interruption
  • Any damages arising from reliance on the service

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@cover.yoga.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Your use of the service poses a security risk
  • Required by law

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the service will cease immediately
  • We recommend exporting your data before account closure
  • Invoice data may be retained as required by law (see our Privacy Policy)
  • You remain responsible for any outstanding payments

9.4 Data Export

Before terminating your account, you may request an export of your data by contacting hello@cover.yoga.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • For material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our service
  • Continued use of Cover after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should stop using the service and close your account.

11. Governing Law

11.1 Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Cover shall be:

  • First attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, submitted to the competent courts of France

12. General Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cover regarding the use of our service.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
